The Middle School Carnival was held Monday, October 31. The Winters Middle School Halloween carnival attracted over 1000 people and carnival chairman, chair-man, Tina Lewis, said the proceeds which amounted to $1000 will go toward purchasing library books for Marsac Elementary Elemen-tary School and the Middle School Tuesday of this week. Dr. Falls said he would use the money for paperback books, as opposed to hardbound, because he explained that around 3 times as many books could be bought in paperback form. Falls added he was planning to order the books for the library at Marsac immediately. Books for both schools will be selected by staff and media coordinators. There were over 30 booths for the carnival and Tina Lewis said that because of the high attendance, there was no food left at the end of the event. Besides the "Dunk the teacher" teach-er" booth, which proved to be one of the more popular highlights at the carnival, prizes were also given away.
