Show Fifty Years of Marital Bliss Thurlow and Bessie MacNau-ghtan MacNau-ghtan celebrated their 50 years of marriage at a lovely family dinner, given by their son Kay and his wife Barbara. Thurlow Jr. and wife Lois were there also. November is a month of anniversaries for the family. Kay and Barbara Were married Nov. 1-4, their daughter Linda and Michcal Ralph November 6, their daughter Brenda and husband Walda Canabc were married Nov. I and Thurlow and Bessie were married November 2, 1927. Thurlow and Bessie moved to Park City May 1935 where Thurlow worked in the mines as a hoisting engineer. He also worked work-ed on the state road and was water master and carpenter, worked on the gondolas and lodges, also telephone building, LDS Church and other buildings. He was Justic of Peace, also Bishop of the LDS Ward and High Councilman in the stake. They moved to Salt Lake City December 3, 1973 for lower climate for Thurlow making 42 years lived in Park City. Bessie has nostalgic memories of Park City and the beautiful mountains and many friends and neighbors in the good old days. |
