Show Member Of LD.S. Church Rates Air Base Citation Fenton L. Williams, Sacramento Air Material Area historian, has been named Civilian-of-the:month for June at McCellan AFB. He also received a $200 cash incentive award this week for performance of his duties in a superior manner, in recognition of his history program's winning first place among all Air Material Command bases last year. One of the Base's best known civilian employess, he came to work at McClean . in 1941, first in the supply division, then in the civilian personnel office, where he was in charge of the re-employ ment of veterans after World War II. In 1947 he became base his-toran, his-toran, a post he has held ever since. During this time he has carried on historical studies on major projets, problems and management man-agement improvement programs; and prepared semi-annual histories of base operations for submission to Air Force headquarters. He has been a Sacramento resident resi-dent since 1937, when he moved here after 16 years in the teaching teach-ing profession in Utah, including six years as a high school principal. princi-pal. He is very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. He resides at 4340 U Street in Sacramento. |
