Show MANNA Crystal Wilcken Early Pioneer Dies The entire Community was indeed in-deed shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of one of the pioneers of his area, Thomas Monroe Giles, who died of a heart attack Monday, evening, July 16 in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Giles homesteaded a farm here and lived here many years before moving to Salt Lake City. We extend our sympthay to the entire en-tire family. The goodwill of this community for Mr. Giles and his family was very evident by the large number from here who attended at-tended his funeral in Heber City on Thursday of last week. Our hearts and prayers go out to Carolyn Pilling who is confined con-fined in the Salt Lake General Hospital in critical condition at this writing wth polio, and also to Delbert Fabrizio who is recovering re-covering from a severe cut to one of his hands in the Heber Hospital. Hos-pital. Mr. Fabrizio was injured Thursday morning of last week while working at the local, sawmill. |
