Show Judge lamed For UBIC Art Show H. Edward Nelsen, art instructor instruc-tor at Granite High School, has consented to judge the 1956 Uintah Basin Industrial Convention Conven-tion art exhibit. He will arrive in Roosevelt Tuesday, Aug. 7, and judge the pictures early that evening. eve-ning. Mr. Nelsen is active in numerous num-erous art organizations in Utah. He was director of he first UCA state art show and has instructed many adult groups in California and Utah. Rules for entering paintings in the art exhibit have been published publish-ed in the Standard. Those desiring desir-ing additional information should contact Mrs. Joe Norton, Mrs. Rudy Krissman at Dick's Shoe Shop, Mrs. Virgil Mecham, or Thome Studios at Vernal. The exhibit will be held in the elementary school and will open at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday' and remain open during the UBIC activities. Mr. Nelsen will be present Tuesday Tues-day night to answer any questions or give information about the exhibit. |
