Show Trail Builders Hold Fun-Da-Lay Friday The Trail Builders of the Myton Ward Primary joined the Roosevelt Roose-velt Ward Friday evening at the Roosevelt City Park to celebrate a Fun-Da-Lay day. The program was opened by the boys, parents, teachers and officers singing the Trail Builders Song. Other musi-cal musi-cal selections weTe a vocal solo by Lanny Ross and a harmonica solo by Reid Richens. Games furnished entertainment which was climaxed by box lunches. Mrs. Bernice Edrington of Roosevelt Roos-evelt Ward was in charge of the outing while Mrs. Virginia Roberts Ro-berts of the Myton Ward' prepared pre-pared the program and conducted the singing. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hall and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Montgomery, a recent bride and groom, came from Layton last week to visit Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Harris. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. John Richens, daughter and son-in-law, of Mrs. Hall in Arcadia. When they returned to Layton they were accompanied by Donna Richens, who will spend' a short time visiting there. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Smith and children, Katherine, Michael and LaMarca, and Mrs. Janet Burg-hardt Burg-hardt and son, Marvin, and daugh-tr, daugh-tr, Bonnie, iformer residents of Myton, were greeting old friends last week. They were visiting in Arcadia at the home of Mrs. Smih's sister, Mrs. Steve Hamilton. Hamil-ton. They completed their vacation vaca-tion with a trip to the Monks' ranch near Hayden, Colorado, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Harmston and family, to visit Mr. Hamilton, who is employed there. The Smiths returned re-turned to their home in Drager-ton Drager-ton late in the week. Mr and Mrs Paul Felter and family enjoyed a visit last week from Mr. and Mrs. Don Mc-Kenna Mc-Kenna and tiny son who came from Palo Alto, Calif. Don, a son of Mrs. Felter, was greeting his many old friends during his short - visit. As they1 returned' home they were accompanied by Helen Felter who will visit the McKennas in California until September. Mr. and . Mrs. Jack Gils and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Giles and two children left last week for Colo., where Jack will be employed. em-ployed. They were residing on the W. R. Harris ranch in Pleasant Valley. Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Church left Friday for a weekend fishing trip on Yellowstone Creek. Mr. and Mrs. Amos Perank and family enjoyed a weekend visit at Fort Hall, Idaho, where the Sun Dance was in progress, and they could greet their many Indian friends. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Clark and family of Tuscon, Arizona, were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Felter Tuesday. Carl Thompson came from Orem Saturday to participate in a weekend fishing trip on the Yellowstone. He visited at the home of his mother-in-law, Mrs. Jenny Taylor, and was accompanied accomp-anied on the trip by his brother-in-law, Allen, Kenneth Taylor and Wendell Mathisen. Mr and Mrs. B. L. Dart came from Price Sunday to visit at the ranch home of Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Dart and attend to their "property "prop-erty interests here. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Walker and daughter, Jean were visitors from . Salt Lake Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish. |
