BEAVER COUNCIL FAVORS PAVING At a special meeting of the Beaver City Council Wednesday night, a committee from the Lions club met with the board to enlist their cooperation cooper-ation in' the paving of Main street in Beaver.. The board went on record unanimously favoring the project. With the county commissioners, the city council and the majority of j the business men favoring the paving j and the promise of the state highway commission to pave eighteen feet of the center of the highway through Beaver, it looks is if the paving is an assured fact for the coming year. The bids for pipe for the Beaver City new waterworks pipe line was let to the Burnham Manufacturing company, of Provo. Other matters of interest coming before the council, was the appointment appoint-ment of night marshal for the city. Isador Lessing was selected for this place, and his appointment seemed' to be satisfactory to all the business I men of the town. Beaver Press. j
