Show SMALL BOY AT FILLMORE IS ACCIDENTALLY SHOT Dale Warner, four year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Warner, of Fillmore Fill-more was the victim of a serious accident ac-cident last week when he was wound-ded wound-ded by a 22 calibre rifle bullet accidentally acci-dentally fired by his older brother. The bullet entered the child's head near the temple and upon a doctor's examination, it was thought to be only a scalp wound, but later an X-ray X-ray showed evidence of a foreign substance sub-stance beneath the skull. It was then thought advisable to take the lad to Salt Lake City where a specialist could care for him. Mr-and Mr-and Mrs. Warner took the boy to Salt Lake Monday, where a further examination showed that the bullet had lodged beneath the skull near the brain. An operation was necessary to remove it. Mr. Warner returned home Wednesday with the report that his son was doing nicely, with the only danger now being that of infection. Mrs. Warner remained in Salt Lake with Dale until he is able to be brought home Millard County Progress, Prog-ress, Fillmore. |
