Show MILFORD GIRL IS COMPLIMENTED BY NOTED ORGANIST Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Nebeker are in receipt of the following letter from Prof. Frank W. Asper, relative to the work accomplished this summer by their daughter, Miss Estelle, at the McCune School of Music and Art. Miss Nebeker is one of Milford's most accomplished musicians, having studied piano locally under Mrs. Woodbury, Mrs. Alfred, and for the last two years, under Prof. Alvin Baker. Her last instructor, Professor As- per, is organist at the Salt Lake Tabernacle, and Mr. and Mrs. Nebeker Neb-eker have occasion to feel proud of the complimentary remarks in the following letter: Salt Lake City, Utah, August 27, 102S Dear Mr. and Mrs- Nebeker: It has been a very great pleasure, for me to have Estelle, study with me J this summer. I regard her as a very , exceptional student. I have not heard! her play piano, but I consider her as j one of the two best harmony students . that' I have ever had, whether it be, in class or private and my experience i in teaching harmony runs for about the past twelve years. If her piano playing is as thoroughly thought out; and as conscientiously prepared as her harmony, she will make no mis- j take in following music. I thing that; there is a very great future in the j musical profession for those who are j willing to work as it seems to be ex-, panding very rapidly. At the same time competition is becoming more keen and naturally only the best can i survive. For this reason, I am very careful whom I would advise to devote their lives to music. But Estelle is one of those in whom I have a great deal of confidence and am sure music as an art will always be safe as long as it has followers as devoted to the cause and as conscientious as Estelle. I hope that I will be able to some day see her a successful musician-With musician-With best personal wishes, I remain, Yours very truly, FRANK W. ASPER |
