Show TOWN BOARD MEETS The town board met last evening at the city clerk's office and transacted trans-acted routine business. Bills were, passed upon for the month of August. The progress of the Main street improvement im-provement work was checked up and was found to be satisfactory to all board members. W. H. Smith and E. F. B- Daude, agricultural geologist, were present, and brought forth some interesting facts in regard to the possibilities of a deep water supply here. It was Mr. Daude's belief that deep water underlies under-lies the townsite and adjacent territory. terri-tory.
