Tho prudential commllteo and tho committee of ministers minis-ters who oppooed tho acceptance of tho gift went Into secret session at Congregational Congre-gational Iioubo at 0:30. Not until ncarlv thrco and a half hours later were tho doors of the committee-room opened, and Secretary Barton announced that the committee had voted unanimously not to mako any statements concerning tho action ac-tion taken with reference to tho Rockefeller Rocke-feller gift until tomorrow, when a formal statement would bo Issued Dr. Barton said, however, that tho report re-port of the 6Ub-eommllteo on the question ques-tion of accepting the gift, notwithstanding notwithstand-ing tho protest, was unanimous. Ho would not disclose in any way the nature na-ture of this report.
