Show OWES THIRTY MILLION. Castro Declares That His Debts Are Small. CARACAS, March 2S. President Castro Cas-tro has reiterated his statements that there Is no ground for complaint against Venezuela, and no reason for Intervention. He declares that attacks by the American press against his country und Government, indicate complete com-plete Ignorance of the facts concerning the debts of Venezuela and thc settlements settle-ments thereof. The debts are relatively relative-ly small, tho whole amount not exceeding exceed-ing $30,000,000. All those debts have, thc statement continues, been punctually paid since the protocol was signed. Nearly 51,000,-000 51,000,-000 was peremptorily claimed by Germany, Ger-many, England and Italy, and paid. Since then $2,200,000 more has also been paid, representing 30' per cent In duties. du-ties.
