Show Panguitch Patter Hazel Houston I have been on vacation for a week so I did not get an article in the paper last week, and a very short one for this week. SORRY!!!!! There are several local folks here for the funeral services for Sylvia Judd, among them were Eccles Cameron and his wife Nell, and Jim and Arlene Judd. Thirza Proctor has been ill following an automobile accident. She was in the hospital when Aunt Mattie Kocherhans passed away, so Bill had to take care of many of the people who were here for her funeral services. The Haycock brothers are here: Harold from Hayward, Calif.; Dick from Sacramento, Calif.; Woodrow, from Oakland, Calif, and Warren from Deweyville. Woodrow has just been put in the bishopric of the Vallejo California Second Ward, Napa Stake. Warren spent three days with the state Land Board, on a trip on Lake Powell. They held their quarterly meeting while they were there. Leathe Moore became very ill while she was at her daughter Jedan Glazier's cabin at the lake Sunday and had to be hospitalized. Jim and Betty Bron, California and Evelyn Orton from Cedar City were there so they were able to be with their mother. Steve Hatch cut his arm with a power saw while they were camping at White Bridge campground and he had to be taken to the hospital, where he had extensive repair work on his arm. They were able to save his arm and he will regain the use of it. There are some beautiful bucks bagged this deer hunt.
