Show Hatch Happenings Velma Huntington Several ward members attended stake conference in Panguitch. Daughters of Utah Pioneers held their meeting Friday at Carma Sawyers. Quilting was enjoyed and also refreshments served. Visiting the Lamar and the Layton Barneys were the Gordon Barneys, Tooele; the Kenneth Barneys, Clearfield; 'Ferril and Layne Barney, Las Vegas; the Spencer Hawkins, Provo; the Craig Barneys, Logan and the Kerry Barneys, Salt Lake City. The Leland Riggs visited Philip, Thad and Robert Robertson, Cedar City. Sandra Robertson visited the Gary Fagg family. The Faggs went to St. George to visit her doctor and also her folks, the C. D. Campbells. I Shirley and Monica Wilhelm and Maggie Bar-nhurst visited in Las Vegas with relatives. Brent Turek, Colorado brought his folks the E.F. Tureks home Friday after they had visited Brent and family. Visiting the David and the Nile Sawyers were the Clifton Sawyers and Roger Alexander, Ogden; Floyd and Tom Sawyer and grandson Philip, Roy; the Kurt Sawyers, Jeffrey and Eric Sawyer, Cedar City and Elaine Hatch, Panguitch. Mr. and Mrs. Garth Heap took Joe Bamhurst home to St. George. They went to the temple to do work there. Visiting the Heaps were Joanne Sawyer, the Don Heaps, the Wallace Heaps, the Ivor Riggs, the Brad Riggs, Robert Brown, all Cedar City; Robert's three friends, Orem and the Kelvin Yazzie's, Panguitch. Ruth and Calvin Wilson were at Tuba City, Ariz, with the Wilford Lanes. Sunday friends and relatives gathered at the Lanes to help Ruth celebrate her birthday. May Sawyer and Velma Huntington attended a shower in Panguitch for Elaine Hatch at the home of her parents, the Bill Hatchs. The Karl Lowders, Velta, Verla and Vaneta Sawyer, Vaelyn and Jason Sawyer and their company, the Kent Andersons, Glendale all went to Minersville to hunt with the Larry Baileys and to meet the Lowder's son Jesse and wife Ronda from Goldhill, Ore. Visiting Velma Huntington during the weekend were Roxanne and Ileta Dix, April and Kristy Barabas, Panguitch; Melodie Wood, Richard and Angela Dix, Price. Visiting the Grant Daltons were the Gilbert darks, Kanab and the Wayne Stubbs, Parowan. Dallas and Maggie Barnhurst were visited by the Merlin Barnhurst, Kevin Bamhurst and son, Salt Lake City; Bert Barnhurst, Cedar City. Diane and J.R. Barnhurst returned to Salt Lake City with Mrs. Merlin Barnhurst. Hunters at Abbie Fallis' home were Randy and Ricky Fallis and the Lonnie Fallis family all Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Gary Hailstone and Melissa, St. George; Chet, Brian and Kelly Hailstone, Panguitch. Mr. and Mrs. Orlas Riggs had the Duard Riggs, the David Riggs, and the Leslie Footes, Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Riggs, Clearfield; the Ralph Riggs and Coach Scott Dewbeck, Parowan, visiting. The Wiley Huntingtons enjoyed the hunt with their sons, Lowell, Allen, Ron and Wesley Huntington, Kanab and Stan Huntington, Cedar City. Brent Turek, Colorado, brought his parents, the E. F. Tureks, home after a weeks visit with him and his family in Colorado. Monday the Tureks visited in Cedar City with Kathy and Kristen Winn. |
