Show After almost two years without a show house in the entire county, the Panguitch Movie House will open its doors 'Let's Go to The Movies' Will Be Heard Movie going will once again become a 'reality for Garfield County residents next week at the Panguitch Theatre. It will open its doors following nearly a two year closure. New manager of the Main Street business, R. L. Isenhour, has set a target date for opening of Wednesday, October 28. Shows will be screened twice nightly on Wednesday through Saturday evenings with a special "family night" feature to be preseted each Monday evening. Isenhour, who recently moved to Panguitch from Yuma, Ariz., along with two sons, has owned and operated numerous theaters and drive-ins since Among the projects undertaken in the next week to excited county residents. The showhouse will feature two shows nightly. past few weeks to refurbish the building and equipment has been the purchasing of an entirely new viewing screen, new sound system, complete reworking of projection equipment and replacement of torn and worn out theater seating. The lobby and balcony, as well as the exterior of the facility will be repainted prior to opening next week. With a seating capacity of approximately 325, the Pangutich theater will be competitive in its movie screening as it will frequently be screening shows that will simultaneously be playing in Cedar City and other areas within proximity of Panguitch. |
