Show Milford GCC Notes (By Alan L. Ash) The camp, recently made desolate deso-late by the departure of the majority ma-jority of the company in March, sprang suddenly into vigorous life Monday morning when 75 new en-rollees en-rollees arrived. The majority of the new men hail from Georgia. The new arrivals are being initiated initi-ated into the routine of camp lifo. The educational program is operating operat-ing with full power ahead and the new men are being welcomed into the classes. Stopping with the company for a few days awaiting his orders, is Lieutenant Wetzel, who was in command of the new arrivals on their trip west. Another new arrival in the company com-pany is Lieutenant David M. Parker, who has arrived to take over his duties as camp surgeon. He is replacing Lieutenant Phillip Giber, who left here last month. The men of the company are employed em-ployed in completing the Black Willow reservoir, started by the Kanosh camp. This reservoir is located about 20 miles from Black Rock. In addition, preparatory work on the construction of the Black Butte reservoir has begun. M |
