Show Here From Caliente Conrad Whiting, former superintendent super-intendent of the local Union Pacific Pa-cific lunch and dining room and now occupying a similar post at Caliente, was in Milford Wednesday Wednes-day for the funeral of . Gc(.rge Fernley and enjoyed chats with some of his many old friends, including in-cluding The News office, leaving a couple of dollars to advance his subscription for another year. Though Mr. and Mrs. Whiting were located in Milford only a comparatively compara-tively short time, they like to think of it as "home' in many respects re-spects and have a high regard for the friends they made while here. |
