Show jfj)$iljr Mrs. George Jefferson left Monday Mon-day morning for several days visit in Salt Lake. Val Yepsen, manager of the Tri-State Tri-State Lumber company, was a business busi-ness visitor in Salt Lake over the week-end. David Lewis and Bud Williams, who are attending1 school at the B. A. C. at Cedar City, spent the week-end in Milford with home folks. iMrs. Lloyd Lee and daugjhter Peggy wfcre Salt Lake visitors this week. Mrs. Myron Lewis was here from Cedar City to spend the week-end with relatives and friends. J. C. Root, fbrmer postmaster, left Monday afternoon for Los Angeles, where he will undergo special treatment for sinus trouble. Mrs. Joe Hanlon was hostess to the Big Four club Wednesday evening with Mrs. Ray Malstrom winning ithe high prize. Others present were Mrs. J. C. Jeffers, Mrs. Grover Cuddy, Mrs. B. E. Hutchine, Mrs. J. D. Johnston, Mrs. George Moore and Mrs. Earl , Gleason. Mrs. Frank White entertained her bridge club Tuesday night with high points prize being won by Mrs. A. A. Mclntyre, high honors by Mrs. Ray Mills and consolation con-solation by Mrs. Ella Edwards. Others present were Mrs. Ralph Cook, Mrs. Lloyd Kohler, Mrs. Clarence Grimshaw and Mrs. Faye Bradfield. I Mrs. Lloyd Lee entertained the Big Four Bridge club at her home last Thursday evening with Mrs. I George Moore winning the high ' secre prize. Others present were Mrs. Grover Cuddy, Mrs. J. C. Jeffers, Jef-fers, Mrs. B. E. Hutchins, Mrs. Joe Hanlon, Mrs. Ray Malstrom, Mrs. Robert Price and Mrs. J. D. Johnston. Mrs. Myron Lewis was hostess ,to the Wednesday night bridge club at the Legion Auxiliary public pub-lic card party Saturday night. Those enjoying the occasion were Mrs. Gene Kirk, Mrs. J. R. Mur-dock Mur-dock jr., Mrs. Val Yepsen, Mr?. J. H. We.-'ton, Mrs. D. S. Williams and Mis. P. well Smyth. Mrs. Kirk rcoived the h'vh score prize and Mrs. Williams the consolation priza. The Saturday Afternoon club met at the home of Mrs. Ruth Williams with Mrs. Margaret Mur-dock, Mur-dock, Mrs. Ethel Nielsen, Mrs. Ascnath Pool, Mrs. Laura Cates, Mrs. Lena Levi, Mrs. Anna Cochrane Coch-rane and Mrs. Metta Weston being present. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Murdock for high points, Mrs. Nielsen for high honors and Mrs. Cates for consolation. Mrs. Weston Wes-ton received the guest prize. Mrs. R. R. Shannon was hostess to her bridge club at the Gene Kirk home last Thursday night. Those present were Mrs. Lloyd Kohler, Mrs. Earl Stonehocker, Miss Gladys Coleman, Leah Richards, Alice Wynaught, Gertrude Gert-rude Dewey and Mrs. Thomas Campbell. The first high sdore prize was won by Mrs. Stonehocker, Stone-hocker, second high score prize by Mrs. Richards and third high by Miss Wynaught. M |
