Show Grayson Ward Wins Division Tourney Grayson ward M Men of Bland-ing Bland-ing repeated as the Division 5 M Men champions as they walked through all opposition in the Spanish Span-ish Fork tourney with apparent ease and winning the finale .63-40 against the Hinckley ward Saturday Sat-urday night. Springville Fifth, early tournament tourna-ment favorite, lost its first game when Jimmy Thorn limped into the game for only a few minutes of play to help the Fifth's losing cause. They lost to Price Fourth in an overtime but with the improvement im-provement of Thorn's sprained- ankle, an-kle, came back the next two night's to win handily and walk off with a nice consolation trophy via a 47-36 victory over Genola. Spanish Span-ish Fork First placed third. Individual trophies and awards were presented under the direction of DelMoine Christensen, district supervisor. Price Second ward received re-ceived the sportsmanship award and Richard Perkins the most valuable val-uable player awards |
