Peter Frederiekscn entertained at their home Monday afternoon in honor of the latter's sidter, Mrs. C Benson of Colorado. The pupils of the Eighth Grade enjoyed a picture show party at the Alelba Thursday evening. The death of Nathan Hale," the leading reel was highly appreciated and enjoyed by all. The two faculties of the HiBh School and Public school were presented pre-sented with complimentary tickets for the picture show Friday evening. Miss Mary Peterson was tendered a pleasant farewell social by the ollicers and teachers of the North Ward Sunday School and Mutual Improvement Association at her home Monday evening. Miss Peterson leaves Monday next for Arizona with her sister Sena, where she has been engaged as music instructor in-structor in the Snowflake Academy. Games, music and dainty refiesh-ments refiesh-ments made pleasant the evening also al-so a pleasant impromptu program consisting of speeches, recitations, etc Mr. and Mrs. James Monsen entertained en-tertained a' their home at dinner Sunday evening. The affair was in honor of the formers forty-fifth birthday anniversary. A number of beautiful presents were received by the host. Andrew Larsen, Joseph Monsen, Orange Aldrich, Harold Sorenson, Royal Peterson, of Ephraim, Eric Gunderson, Joseph Jos-eph Johansen, Mrs. Andrew Jensen, Henry Ericksen, John Knudsen; also Austin Monsen, Harry Ericksen, Mag .cla Larson, Tressa Larsen. The evening was pleasantly passed in social chat and numerous musical numbers, both vocal and instrumental. instru-mental. . The 20th Century Club was entertained en-tertained by Mrs. H. C. Jacobs Thursday April 18th. The lesson on "Paris" was given by Mrs. A. Johnson. Dorthy Jacobs gave a recitation. The current events were discussed and dainty refreshments were served. |
