Show Gerald Anderson Dies In His Youili. After a week's illness Gerald Anderson An-derson succumbed to the pangs of pneumonia and death over-shadowed him Tuesday afternoon at five o'clock. It was indeed a severp shock to the family and relatives an 1 public in general to learn of the sudden death of the young man. Gerald, was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Anderson of this city. lie was born August 6, 1891. ending his early mission in his twenty-first year. Gerald was held in the highest esteem among his associates and was one of the most highly respected re-spected young men in Mount Pleasant. Pleas-ant. He was also a leading member of the Junior class of the.North Sanpete San-pete High School. The funeral was held in the North Ward meeting house Thursday afternoon af-ternoon at 2 o'clock. The High School studenta and teachers in a body marched from his home to the chapel and relatives and friends of the departed brother filled the house showing reverence unto him. The High School choir furnished sacred music, singing "Rock of Ages," "Near'erMy God to Thee," "I Need Thee Eevery Hour" and "Lead Kindly Light." P. M. Nielsen and Pres. C. N. Lund were the speakers giving most excellent eulogies to the memory of this noble youth. The floral offerings were the most mag-; nificentand sublime thnt has been j seen in this ci'ty for a long time. |
