The tax-payers of Moroni held a meeting April 22nd, to decide whether wheth-er they should bond the city for a new District School building. It was decided to bond the city for fourteen thousand dollars. Mrs. Blanch Irons is clerking in the drug store. Sunday, John E. Jensen came home from the herd where he has spent past winter. Mr. and Mrs. Parley Anderson of Ogden have returned their home after a ten days visit with the parents par-ents of the latter. Delina Jensen entertained a num-1 num-1 her of her friends at the home of 1 her mother, Mrs. A. L. Jensen, j Monday evening :n honor of her seventeenth birthday. Refreshments Re-freshments were served. Mrs. Annie M. Nieisen,. who has been very sick for some time is slo ly imprcvine. Tuesday, Hannah Olsen came home from Provo. The children of R. P. Christensen celebra ed liis ninety-first birthday this week, he is th? oldest man in Moroni. Saturday, Mrs. R. Armstrong and her sister Nora Nielsen, returned to their home in Salt Lake. They were called here on account of the illness of their mother, Mrs. Neilsen. Mrs. Henry Beal of Ephraim is visiting this week with her son, Dena. Peter Johnson of Salt Lake spent a few days visiting his sister, Bertha Ber-tha Blue-lo. The religion class has finished a very successful year's work. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Sorenson of Elsinore returned home Monday Mrs. Frank Bradley went back with . them. ' Ed Johnston went to Salt Lake the early part of the week on business. busi-ness.
