Show Scott Passey Retiring From SCS Scott B. Passey, Area Conservationist Con-servationist for the Soil Conservation Con-servation Service in Price is retiring this month after 35 years of federal servce. Passey, who has been ex. tremely helpful in the work of the Grand County Water Conservancy District, begar his career by working summers sum-mers far the Forest Service and the old U. S. Bureau or Fisheries in Utah, Wyoming and Colorado while attending Utah State University in Logan. Lo-gan. After graduating with a degree in wildlife manage, rnent, he received a perman. ent appointment with Hie Soil Conservation Service in Mt. Pleasant where he worked until his transfer to Price in 1951. While in Price, Passey has served as Area Conservationist Conser-vationist for Area HI consisting con-sisting of the seven counties of eastern Utah plus Sanpete San-pete County. In this position, he had direct responsibility for the activities of the Soil Conservation Service in this area of the State. Passey is a native of Paris, Idaho, and is married to the former Helen Henderson of Pocatello. They plan to continue con-tinue living in Price, (Joirig a lot of fishing and traveling travel-ing extensively. |
