Aider of Utah State University. Uni-versity. Dr. Alder's specialty is in modem European history. The Commencement Com-mencement Address will be centered around the theme, "Good and Evil," which was chosen by members of the graduating class. Among Dr. Alder's professional profes-sional activities, he boasts of several publications in th3 history area, and has served serv-ed several years as Director of the XDEA History Institute. Insti-tute. He also has been a director dir-ector of the Experienced Teacher Fellowship Program at Utah State University. He was a Fulbright student at the University of Vienna in the early sixties, and has served on committees of the National Council for the Social So-cial Studies and on task groups for the Social Science Consortium at Boulder ,Colo. The formal processional for tho praduates will be played by Mrs. JoArm.Cox. Others on the graduation program include Donald Axtell, who will give the invocation; David Da-vid Adkison, Student Body President, who will give the welcome to those in attendance; attend-ance; Daniel Robinson, who will introduce Dr. Alder; and Kim McDougald, giving the benediction. The Valedictory Address will be given by Paul Mobley and Marcia Lea, co-valedictorians for the Class of 1972. The class scng, "No Man Is An Island," will be sung by the graduates, directed by Mr. Wendell Bowthorpe of the Music Department at the High School. - Princpial Leland ' -TeepleS will give the Recommendation Recommenda-tion of Seniors for Graduation Gradua-tion and Samuel J. Taylor, President of the Board of Education, will present the diplomas. The Presentation of the roses to the seniors will be by Mrs. Marjorie Tomsic, Vice President of the Board of Education. Adults receiving high school diplomas will be recommended recommend-ed by Bill B. Meador, Assistant Assis-tant Superintendent of Schools. Mr. Taylor and Mrs. Tomsic will again present the diplomas di-plomas and the roses. The public is invited and urged , to attend these' graduation grad-uation ceremonies honoring the '. Class ' of 1972. Members of the graduating class will be attired in their robes at 10 a.m. Thursday morning, for the taking of formal pictures. pic-tures.
