Show Chairmen Named For Red Cross Fund Campaign Community chairmen for the Red Cross 1951 fund campaign were named today by Earl Kelly and Ward Killpack, west Millard chairmen. chair-men. The campaign is now on and each home and business firm will be asked to contribute to the Red Cross to help in the great program they carry on throughout the world. West Millard's quota this year is $1780. If each family will give $1.50 the quota will soon be reached. reach-ed. Larger contributions from individuals in-dividuals and business firms will be welcomed. Everyone is urged to give liberally liber-ally this year 'tor the American Red Cross. The raising of the 1951 Red Cross fund is imperative this year because of the increased responsibility res-ponsibility occasioned by the national na-tional emergency. The Red Cross is now expanding expand-ing its service of providing blood banks for both civilian and military mili-tary use; furnishing the necessary services and assistance for military personnel and their dependants; making available vital hospital care; meeting recreational and welfare needs and in reaching into every American community to provide pro-vide the special assistance no other organization extends. The local workers who will assist in this year's campaign are Lenore Gardner and Betty Baker, South Tract; Mrs. Armond Ogden, Sutherland; Suth-erland; Mildred Johnson, Gandy; Hampton Burke, Black Rock; Molly Mol-ly Gander, Garrison; La Veda Bishop Oasis; Gladys Carter, Hinckley; Louise Lovell, Leamington; Betty Rosenbaum and Mrs. Jerry Nielson, Lynndyl; Mrs. Verna Walch, Delta North; Mrs. Cliff Leavitt, Delta South; June Hinckley, Sugarville and Woodrow; Reva Bliss, Abraham. Abra-ham. Deseret and Oak City chairmen chair-men have yet to be selected. |
