I Tanner Amphitheater Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. The outdoor concerts will offer Southern Utah music lovers a sampling of Utah Symphony pops favorites. Henderson and the orchestra will open with Mancini's "Strings on fire," followed by "The Sound of Music" by Hodgers, Caillet's "Pop! Goes the Weasel," "Oliver" by Bart, and "Buckaroo Holiday" from Copland's "Rodeo." Other works to be performed include the theme from "Superman" by Williams, Anderson's "Fiddle Faddle," "Grand and Dandy George" by Nobis and Henderson, the Bee Gees' "Saturday Night Fever," "Star Wars" by Williams, and Sousa's "E Capitan." |
