Show 4-H camp a success Deer Haven was the setting for 265 Iron County 4-H'ers and their leaders campout July 13 and 14. Gina Heaps was elected mayor, with Amy Williams mayorette. Winners in the horseshoe hor-seshoe competition were Kirtis Maxwell, first; Robbie Maxwell, second; Curtis Tait, third; and Carlos Clark, Benji Marvell and Brad Munford, honorable mention. Boys log sawing winners win-ners were Brad Munford and Curtis Tate, first; Lance Crawford and Curtis Maxwell, second; and Emer Tripp and Lance Crawford, third. Girls log sawing winners were Amber Bulloch and Catherine Evans, first; Amy Hyer and Heidi Molyneaux, second; Lynnette Gilger and Heidi Molyneaus, third. Winners in the Rock painting, faces, were Brad Munford, first; Tonya Cornelius, second; Heidi Hunter, third; LaNeta Kimball, fourth. Glue winners were Jennifer Williams, first; Amy Williams, second. Scenes winners were Stewart Clark, first; Kay Lynn Williams, second; Laurie Turner, third Rocks winners were Heidi Munson, first; Gena Heaps, second; Jennifer Palmer, third. Winners in nature pictures, charcoal were Don Brinkerhoff, first; Cami Stpwell and Jodi Sutherland, second; and Kelly Russin, third. Lummi sticks winners were Carol Wilson and April Bybee, first; Rana Hunt arid Courtney Miles, Barbara and Christine Tebbs, Tracy Jones and Teryl Gray, Melissa Stathis and Nikko Pollock, second; and Lori Blackner and Jennifer Nielson, Heidi Munson and Stacy Bradshaw, Nicole Johnson and Denise Braegger, third.
