Show Primary Children Celebrate Annual Homecoming Here The high school gmnasium was filled to capicity Saturday afternoon after-noon when th3 primary organizations organiza-tions of Springville and Mapleton entertained at their annual orientation orienta-tion known this year as the "Homecoming." "Home-coming." C. R. Jones was master of cei emoni s. The program was well arranged. The dances and exercises given by tho boys and girls of the various classes were splendid. It was a pretty sight to see the children dressed in the various colored costumes made special for the occasion. oc-casion. The whole entertainment gave evidence of much time and preparation on the part of the officers of-ficers and teachers in charge. A nicely arranged dinner was given Sunday by Mrs. J. X. Gardner and Mrs. G. S. Wood at their home complimentary to friends, Mr. and James Smedley and Mr. and Mrs. John Smedley of Bountiful. Valley Circle members will be onto on-to taincd by Mis. F. W. Hoffman and Mrs. Janet Gogarty at the home of the latter, 60 West Third South street, Thursday evening at 7:30 o'clock. All members are urged to be present and an invitation is extended to all Eastern Star mem-be mem-be is. Camp No. 1, Daughters of the Pioneers, will hold their regular monthly meeting October 10 at the home of Mrs. Joe Wheeler. A history his-tory and program will bo given during the afternoon nnd all mem-beis mem-beis aie urged to be in attendance. Complimentary to Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Singleton who were returning return-ing to their home in Eureka from Provo where their little son was operated on for- appendicitis, the grandmother, Mrs. Phoebe Singleton Single-ton entertained at dinner at her home Sunday.
