Harry Florence, 20, of Bountiful, Utah, died in a local hospital early today from injuries sustained when he was struck by an automobile, on the Ogden highway. The machine which struck Florence was driven by Melvin Hutchins of Provo. David Spellbury, 69, of Salt Lake, received a fractured right leg when . struck by an automobile while crossing the street. He was hurled about fifteen feet by the impact. Mrs. Melvin Hutchins, who was with her husband when their machine ma-chine struck Florence, received a compound fracture of the right arm.' Hutchings told investigating officers offi-cers that he did not see Floi. nco until he was but a few feet from him. He said he sounded the horn, and Florence moved aside but was struck by Mis. Hutchins' elbow which was resting on the door and knocked to the pavement. |
