Show Eva Adams Dalebout celebrates 90th birthday fS! 1 5 ! v v s I l j Mrs. Eva Adams Dalebout is celebrating her 90th birthday on Oct. 21. Mrs. Dalebout has been a resident of Pleasant Grove since 1920, when she came to the United States from Dover, England to marry Burton H. Adams in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on April 15. They had met during World War I when he was on leave from France and was visiting in Dover because of his ancestry there, and also to act upon instructions from the Mission President in London and visit the only member of the church in Dover at that time. This sweet little lady member was Mary Jane Eldridge, Mrs. Dalebout's mother. Her daughter, Eva, was also a member, but had not experienced varied church activities as we know them here. After marrying Mr. Adams and moving to a farm here in Pleasant Grove, Eva become involved in many church and community activities, ac-tivities, following the example of her husband, who was a participant in many worthwhile endeavors for his community, church and state. Adams farmed most of his life until he passed away in December 1963. Besides rearing her family, Mrs. Dalebout continued in her many activities and says her most enjoyable en-joyable service was working in the Provo Temple, which she did on a regular basis for several years. She has been an avid researcher most of her adult life and loves genealogy. On Jan. 16, 1973, Eva was married in the provo Temple to William J. Dalebout of Provo. Mr. Dalebout had been a long-time friend of the family and had lost his wife several years before. This friendship and marriage resulted in a happy companionship. Mrs. Dalebout is anticipating a visit from each member of her family this week, the family consisting con-sisting of four living members: Mrs. Daniel (Joan) Naylor, San Jose, Calif.; Mrs. Robert (Zoe) James, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. John (Dawn) Neal, Los Angeles, Calif.; and Guymon E. Adams, Venezuela. Another son, Gordon, a twin to Guymon, is deceased. Mrs." Dalebout's family also consists of 18 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren, grand-children, and 3 step great grandchildren. grand-children.
