Show V V i Richard A. Huntington, 67, for whom services were held Saturday in the 8th Ward. Services held Saturday for R, A. Huntington ' Funeral services were conducted con-ducted Saturday in the Second-Eighth Ward Chapel for Richard Arus Huntington, 67. He died Thursday, Sept. 24, 1964 of a heart ailment at the family residence, 266 So. 2nd East. He was Springville City streets superintendent and a road construction superintendent. superintend-ent. He was employed by the Republic Creosote Co. for 17 years retiring in 1961. He also followed farming for a few years. Born Sept. 29, 1896, in Springville, he was the son of Oliver B and Margaret Luella Bird Huntington. He married Margaret Marie Abildskov, August Au-gust 17, 1920, in the Salt Lake Temple. Mr. Huntington filled a stake mission and served in the Springville Fifth and Eighth Ward bishoprics. He was a member of the Kolob and Springville Stake High Council. Coun-cil. He also held membership in the Springville Volunteer Fire-Department Fire-Department and was a past member of the Kiwanis Club. Survivors include his widow; daughters, Mrs. Carl (Marie) Poulsen, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Elray (Virginia) Fehr, Ogden; Mrs. Wesley, (Luella) Kunkel, Canoga Park, Calif.; Mrs. Blair (Dickie Jane) Sargent, Springville; and nine grandchildren. grand-children. Burial was in Springville City Cemetery. |
