Be sure of your target before be-fore you pull the trigger and know the identifying features of the game you intend to hunt. Never point a gun at anything you do not wish to shoot and avoid all horseplay while handling hand-ling a gun. Unattached guns should be unloaded, while guns i and ammunition should be ' stored separately beyond the , reach of children and careless adults. Never climb a tree or fence or jump a ditch with a loaded gun and never pull a gun toward you by the muzzle. Never shoot a bullet at a , flat, hard surface or the sur-l sur-l face of water; when at target practice, be sure your backstop back-stop is adequate.
