Rick Bunce, son of Joseph Bunce received grand champion champ-ion female award in the Duroc class in the FFA division. David Johnson and Kenny Bringhurst exhibited fat steers. Johnson's steer placed fifth among 80 outstanding steers and was sold for 29 cents a pound. There were many boys exhibiting ex-hibiting in the Farm Mechanics Mechan-ics division. Among them were Jud Harward and Joan Cran-dall, Cran-dall, who took first and second sec-ond for arc. welding. There were many other good exhibits by chapter members. Darrell Bartholomew, chapter chap-ter vice president, won first place in record keeping with his five record books. Springville had a fine crop exhibited with many boys participating par-ticipating and winning ribbons, reports Bill Fullmer.
