Show LOCALS and PERSONALS Miss Yvonne Thornton returned to her home in Joseph, after a visit with Mrs. Sutton. She was accompanied by Mrs. Sutton, son and daughter, Elaine and John. Mrs. William Cochrane will be able to return to work about the 15th. She has been attending her son, William, Wil-liam, after his mishap of getting badly burned. He is recovering rapidly. Mr. Swallow is here from Garrison, spending a few days. The Boy Scouts, troop No. 1, of Mil-ford, Mil-ford, left Thursday for a three-day hike in the Beaver mountains. Scout Master H. E. Bowman is in charge. Mr. Seale, Chief Dispatcher, has left for Mississippi to accompany his son back to Milford. C. M. Freeman is here from Los Angeles in the interest of the railroad. A. E. Kipps is here visiting in the interest of the Magnolia Lead mine. E. A. Thompson is in Milford for a few days from Los Angeles. William Hurst of Beaver, is surveying sur-veying near Milford this week. Mrs. Pecham, employed at the Milford Mil-ford Millinery, will be able to return to her duties at that establishhment Monday, after having received burns occasioned by an accident last week. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Nebeker and family motored to Salt Lake City last Thursday morning for a short visit. Estelle will remain in Salt Lake to take a course in McKeon's school of Music for six weeks. Mrs. Mort Barron and daughter, betty have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Calvert for -the past week. They returned re-turned to their home in Salt Lake City, Tuesday. Miss Lucile Franke arrived Wednesday Wed-nesday from Salt Lake City to visit for the summer with the L. R. Robin-' Robin-' son's at Rocky Ford. Miss Franke is Mjrs. Robinson's sister. Miss Kathleen ,Bohn of Long Beach, California, formerly of Milford, arrived ar-rived here this week enroute to Beaver, Beav-er, where she was bridesmaid at the wedding of Gametta Lessing. Mrs. J. H. Hedges returned home early this week from Cedar City, where she had been visiting relatives and friends. Mrs. Frank Farmer arrived in Milford Mil-ford this week after spending some time in California. Mrs. Roy Howell and small daughter daugh-ter Norma Helen, arrived in Milford Sunday, after an extended visit in Salem, Oregon. Mr. and Mrs. V. H. Dillihunt and family returned home this week after ; a short visit in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Otto Meek, of Baker, Nevada, I left for Los Angeles this week. Dr. and Mrs. Munsey, of Pocatello, are in Milford a few days enroute to California. ; . t? Mr. and Mrs. Glen Barnes are the proud parents of a 11 1-2 pound son, born Tuesday. Ross Lang left Tuesday to work in Provo. K. B. Coon is working in Lynndyl for a month. . Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Finder, Mar-celine Mar-celine White and Henry and Marjorie White were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Davis, Monday in honor of their wedding anniversary. Mr.' and Mrs. J. H. Buckler and J. A. Tharpe of Pioche, Nevada, were here Monday. C. T. Woodbury, now of Inglewood, California, but formerly a prominent attorney of Milford, was here Tuesday. Tues-day. H. J. Mekze came in to our city from Denver Monday. Mrs. A. B. Palmer and three children child-ren of Ruth, Nevada, are visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. Meyer. Stella Atkin left Thursday morning morn-ing for Ruth, Nevada, to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dare Atkin. Mrs. Clare Nichols and children, and Mrs. Abe Fotheringham are visiting visit-ing relatives in Milford for a few days. G. C. Miller and William S. Ken-yon Ken-yon from Washington, D. C, are visiting here for a few days. |
