Show SOUTH MILFORD NOTES Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Patterson and family of Montana, are here visiting with the Adam Patterson family. Mrs. Mabel Burnett arrived Wednesday Wed-nesday and will be the guest of Dr. and Mrs. Addison Bybee. Mrs. Burnett Burn-ett is director of Social Education at the Carneige Institute at Pittsburgh, Pa. Byron Hanchett, of Richfield, was a recent guest at the Hopkins ranch, where he visited his three sons. Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Oppenheimer and grandson, Bob, of Delta, were guests at the Chas. Thomas home Tuesday. Social Hour Club The Social Hour Club met at the clubhouse last Thursday, with Mrs. Chester G. Haskell as hostess. Many j unfinished receptacles were given the , last decorative touch with Duco paint. : Members responded to roll call with ! "What I have planted in my flower-' garden." ' A committee was appointed con- sisting of Mesdames Hickman, Cook, and Pocock, with Madam Bybee and Mrs. F. B. Robinson as consulting members, to formulate plans for the Flower Show, which the club will sponsor in the late summer. During the serving of light refreshments, refresh-ments, vocal and instrumental music was furnished by Mrs. Fisher, Mrs. 1 J:cKnight, and Mrs. Pocock. Guests of the afternoon were Mesdames Mes-dames Brown, Sr., and Jr., James Rawlins, Stout, and Noise. The next meeting will be held at the clubhouse on June 21st, with Mrs. Abe Ilesling-ton Ilesling-ton as hostess, at which time Mrs. Addison Bybee will talk on "Baby's second summer." |
