Show BEAVER BRIEFS j Mrs. Ezra White has gone to Salt Lake City for a two week's vacation. Miss Vera Goodwin is visiting with her aunt, Mrs. Leland Dean, at Deser-et, Deser-et, for an indefinite period. j Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smith and Mrs.' Hattie Yardley spent the week-end at Bryc'e canyon and Hatch, Utah. ! Mrs. F. B. Davis visited her sister, Mrs. Orsen Blacknor, at Cedar City,' Thursday. I Mrs. Anna Vincent is visiting for some time at Salt Lake City and in the northern part of the state with relatives. Miss Ann Woolsey is spending her vacation at Salt Lake City - with friends. Richard Pearce and children, have returned from a week's, visit at Salt Lake City. Mrs. Frank Andrews and children of Caliente, are here for the summer months at the home of her mother, Mrs. D. D. Williams. Miss Zola Fernley has returned from the university of Utah to spend her summer vacation with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Fernley. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gale returned Sunday from Salt Lake where they were married last Wednesday, June Gth. A reception was given in their honor at the I. 0. 0. F. hall on Wednesday Wed-nesday evening, June 13, which was largely attended by relatives . and friends. The marriage of Mrs.Garnita Les-sing, Les-sing, one of the twin daughters of Mr. and Mrs. I. Lessing, to Mr. Chas. H. Cook, of Salt Lake City, was solemnized at 8 o'clock Wednesday evening, June 6th. ' The occasion was a beautiful home wedding, attended by only a few very intimate friends and the relatives of the bride and groom. After the ceremony, a reception recep-tion was held at the Odd Fellows hall, attended by two hundred guests. The funeral for the little two-year-old child of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Hutchings, was held Sunday at the East Ward Chapel, and was largely attended by the people to pay their respects to the grief-stricken parents of the little fellow, who met his death by drowning in the big ditch that passes through the lot of his grandparents, grand-parents, . Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Gillies, while on a visit to their home for the day. Mrs. John Tennet, nee Clara Harris, ! daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Harris, of this city, passed away at her home in Murray Saturday night. Her death was caused by an infection in her hand. Her mother, was called to her bedside last week and was with her to the end. All her brothers were in attendance at the funeral except Walter, who resides in Idaho, and owing to the death of two of his children, recently, was unable to be present. |
