Show Kathleen Scott, Richard Fladeland Married Here Saturday In a beautiful red and white setting at the Community Com-munity Baptist church, Saturday, Sa-turday, Miss Kathleen Ln-'ise Scctt became the bride of Richard LeRoy liadeland. The new. Mrs. Fladeland is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Grossman, of Moab. The groom's parents par-ents are Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Fladeland, Delta, Colo. Silver candelabras with white candles, bouquets of red roses and white snapdragons, snap-dragons, flanked the Altar cf the Church where the 2:00 p.m. double-ring ceremony ce-remony was performed by the Rev. Leland Goodman. The bride was given in marriage by her stepfather. stepfa-ther. For her wedding, Miss Scott ebose a formal gown designed with white chan-tilly chan-tilly lace bodice and taf-.ife'ta taf-.ife'ta skirt. Her fingertip veil of illusion was caught by a tiara of organza roses. ros-es. She wore a single strand of pearl necklace, with matching earrings, and carried a cascading bridal bouquet of twenty red roses and lily of the valley. The Bride's attendants! wore floor-length red brocade bro-cade empire gowns, with imatelung red shoes. Their veils were , white, and they wore white wrist bouquets. Maid of honor was Miss Nedra Krieg, of Laramie, Wyoming, who carried a bouquet of white snapdragons snapdra-gons and glamellias, accented, accen-ted, with Tod rose buds on ribbons. The bridesmaids were Mrs. Steve Massano, of Delta, the groom's sister, sis-ter, and Mrs. Kenneth Hol-ton, Hol-ton, of Grand Junction. Best man and ushers at the wedding wore, white dinner jackets and in conformance con-formance with the bride's colors, red bow ties and red carnation boutonnadres Best man was the groom's brother, Wayne Fladeland, of Delta. Ushers were Kelly Kel-ly Fladeland, brother of i :j J J j ; ' I ' ft, Mr. and Mrs. Fladeland the groom, of Delta, and Keneth Ilolton, of Grand Junction. For her daughter's wedding, wed-ding, Mrs. Grossman chose a gown an d ma telling hat of aquamarine blue, with white accessories. The groom's mother wore a two piece dress of Royal Blue, with white accessories. accessor-ies. Both mothers wore white carnation corsages. The newly weds greeted guests at a reception in Fellowship Hall following the ceremony. A 3-tier wedding cake, decorated with red roses, was served serv-ed at little tables centered with red carnation bouquets bou-quets and red candles. Mrs. Shannon Wiggins presided at the guest book, Mrs. Wdlda Henderson, JVfrs. Glenola Case, and Mrs. Betty Jo Hayes assisted as-sisted with the reception. The .wedding party and out of town guests were entertained at dinner at the bride's parents' home after the reception. The young couple left for a brief honeymoon in Wyoming and Colorado. They will make their future fu-ture home in Hawaii, at which place he will be stationed sta-tioned with the U. S. Marines. Ma-rines. Prior to her marriage, Miss Scott graduated from Grand county high school, and atlended the University Univer-sity cf Wyoming for two years. She is a graduate of the Western Slope Beauty Beau-ty College, of Grand Junction. Junc-tion. She is Past Honored Queen of Job's Daughters, and a member of the Community Com-munity Baptist church. . Mr. Fki'1' land is a former for-mer gnvi-.'.tse . of Delta high' school and for the past three years he has served in the U. S. Marine Corps. He is presently stationed sta-tioned in Hawaii.
