The lake will be open to adults and children and will be stocked with bass, porch, and crappie by the Fi-h and Game Division, juv'iinbly in early spring. Picnic tables will be available av-ailable at each end of the lake. Bill Purges, volunteer worker on the project, stated sta-ted that the Sportsmen's Club would discourage winter skating, and summer sum-mer swimming, in the lake because of the safety factor fac-tor involved. The Sportsmen have ex-pressed ex-pressed thanks to Grand county and Moab City officials of-ficials for donating equipment equip-ment for the work project; pro-ject; to Dr. James Alexander Alexan-der for providing refreshments, refresh-ments, and to Mayor Win-fcrd Win-fcrd Bunce and Commissioners Commis-sioners Mars Pope and Fred Eeyelor for cooking dinner for the workers. Fportsmcn volunteering for the work project were Max and Claude Irish, Iz-zy Iz-zy Nelron, Ellis Stocks, Pole Stocks, Jack Lawley and Mr. Burgos. Also helping help-ing were Harold Couch, and Gene Irish, a visitor from Salt Fake City. |
