Show ' VELMA LaREE RICHENS ALTONAH Funeral services were held in . the Davis ward chapel in Vernal Monday at 1 p. m. for Mrs. Velma LeRee Richens, 25, who died last Thursday Thurs-day in the Vernal hospital, following fol-lowing a lingering illness. Hy-rum Hy-rum Slaugh. Davis ward bishop, conducted the services, and burial bur-ial was in the Vernal cemetery. She was born. May 30, 1926, in Altonah, Duchesne county, a daughter of La Von and Ardella Maxfield Timothy. She attended grade school in Altonah and high school at Altamont. On Nov. 29, 1948, she was married to William Richens in Vernal. Mrs. Richens was active in Primary Association and Relief Re-lief Society work in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, before her illness. Survivors include her husband; hus-band; a son and daughter, Blaine and Cherrie Richens, Vernal; her parents, Bonanza; four brothers, Kay Timothy, with the Army in North Carolina; Jay Var, Dean and Leon Timothy, all of Bonanza, and two grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Maxfield, Duchesne. |
