Show Future Farmers Tom Rowley, Reporter I The Future. Farmers and Future Fu-ture Homemakers are combining their efforts to put over the annual an-nual Harvest Ball, which will be held this Friday, Nov. 2. From all indications it will be one of the most outstanding events of the. year. It will be held in the brand new Union High gym and it looks like the weather will be nice so every one can get there. That's Friday night at 9 o'clock. As is customary at the Harvest Har-vest Ball, a queen will be selected. se-lected. We have four lovely candidates can-didates to select from Carolyn Car-olyn Dennis, of Myton; Marilyn Zirker, Arcadia; Jo Ann Todd and Marilyn Brighton, Ballard. The winner will represent Roosevelt Roos-evelt F.F.A. chapter in the state sweetheart contest which will be held in connection with the state F.F.A. convention in Salt Lake City next spring. Keith Walker, chapter treasur- er, is just about ready to send our chapter dues to the National F.F.A. Association. Sharon CumminSs, our chapter chap-ter adviser, is helping his students stu-dents to further understand the principles of g-ood farming by taking them on field trips where they can see the principles prin-ciples actually in use. The old saying, "Seeing is believing," is what we have in mind when we take a field trip |
