Show Visits At Home 2nd. Lt. Dale Cummings, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Cummings, Cum-mings, of Upalco, has arrived home from duty with the Quartermaster Corps at Fort Lee, Virginia. He is visiting with friends and relatives here prior to reporting for duty at Maridan Army Hospital near j Tacoma, Washington. Jon Rogers is very sick and unable to attend school. His classmates wish him a speedy I recovery. Mr. and Mrs. Percy Potts spent Wednesday of last week in Arcadia with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Clayburn. Mr. and Mrs. Sharon Cummings Cum-mings and children, of Roosevelt, Roos-evelt, visited recently with Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Cummings and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cummings. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jenson and children were also guests at the Cummings home. Moon Lake Stake Conference was held in the Mt. Emmons Ward Hall Sunday. Among those from Upalco who attended were E. L. Murphy and family, Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Mitchell and family, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Potts and family. Oscar Nelson, and Miss Mary Evans, Lemo Williams, Laura Potts, Georgia Durfey, Larry Mitchell, Neal Knight, Shirley Iorg and Betty Iorg attended a basketball game in Duchesne Friday night. Miss Veretta Gomm. of Mt. Emmons, visited Friday night at the home of Miss Georgia Durfey. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Murphy and family, of Roosevelt, visited Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Murphy Sunday Sun-day evening. Harley and Doyle Evans, of Provo, visited over the week end with their father, George Evans. |
