Show Hewlyweds, Mr. And Mrs. Arvin Bellon, Honored At Reception Friday Night An outstanding social event of early February was the wedding wed-ding reception and dance honoring hon-oring Mr. and Mrs. Arvin L. Bellon last Friday, Feb. 1, at the Roosevelt Stake House. Invitations In-vitations were issued to four hundred guests to attend the post-nuptial event taking place several days after the young couple's marriage in the Salt Lake L D S Temple on Jan. 21. Mrs. Bellon is the former Miss Maurine Gilbert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Gilbert, ' and Mr. Bellon is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Xavier Bellon. The charming young bride greeted the many guests, in her wedding gown of white slipper satin, entrain, designed with a high neckline and inset of net and fine embroidery. The full skirt was gathered into softi folds at the fitted waistline, and the long tight sleeves tapered to points at the wrist. Her veil of bride's illusion was fastened to I a satin bonnet brim with seed pearls, and she carried a bou-j bou-j quet of pink roses and white i hyacinth blossoms tied with ! pink satin streamers, i Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Renae, and the Misses Shauna Gilbert, i Shanna Bellon, LaVaur Reyn-olds, Reyn-olds, Grace Colton and Leah Duncan were bridesmaids. All were attired in pastel colored formals and each carried pink rosebuds encircled with a white satin and net heart, tied with sa- tin streamers. i Also in the receiving line were the parents of the bride I and of the groom, and Louis 5 Taylor, best man. i Receptionist for the evening was Mrs. Joseph Shanks, with Mrs. Hollis Hullinger, Mrs. John Chasel and Mrs. Ray Hunting , in charge of the gift room. Serv-,, Serv-,, ing arrangements were under the direction of Mrs. Theron J Leavitt, Mrs. Omni Winterton and Mrs. Presley Timothy, as-' as-' sisted in the serving room by Miss Mary Ivory, Miss Sherrie Gilbert. Miss Janice Anderton, " Miss Aria Dfckerson and Miss Janet Stevens. A pink, green and white col-' col-' or scheme was predominate 4 throughout, with an arrange- ment of pink carnations and white daisies, centered with a ' white net heart as the center-i piece, accented by pink lighted tapers in crystal holders at eith- l. . - w w -a: w 'a 'a' er end. Covering the table was a linen cloth of Roman cutwork. Master of ceremonies for the program was Floyd Ross, who announced the following numbers: num-bers: vocal solos. Esther Wogec, ! accompanied by Mrs. Benme Schmiett; vocal solos, Roy Anderson, An-derson, accompanied by Mrs. Loren Alexander; reading. Miss Renae Eldredge; and vocal solo, Mrs. Garth Gardner, accompanied accompan-ied by Miss Janice Anderton. Dancing followed to the music of Smith's orchestra.
