Show Mrs. Melba Eksund Valentine Dance Sponsored By MIA A Valentine dance will be held Tuesday, Feb. 12, after Mutual, in the Neola Ward Chapel. Tal Wardle and his orchestra will furnish the music. Everyone is invited to come and join in the fun. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Anderton, of Tridell, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Hoopes, Mr. and Mrs. Loren Pike, of Whiterocks, and Mr. and Mrs. Vee Winn were out-of-town guests at the Square Dance Wednesday night. A large crowd attended and a very enjoyable en-joyable time was 'the result. Mr. and Mrs. Vee Winn are visiting at the home of Vee's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Winn. J. O. Hoopes, of Whiterocks. visited Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. R. A. Eksund. and family. The following babies were blessed in Sacrament meeting Sunday: Eldon Blaine, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Gardner, of Whiterocks; Lorna Bastian, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Bastian; Douglas B. Duncan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claire Duncan: Mark Elray Duncan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elray Duncan; and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Smith, of Springfield. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird and daughter, of Ioka. spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Claire Duncan. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Smith and family, of Springfield, spent a , few days here as guests of Mrs. I Smith's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Allred. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jensen, of Roosevelt, spent Sunday with her folks, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Gardner. Miss Betty Moosman spent Sunday evening visiting her sister, sis-ter, Lela, in Neola. Most" of our Junior Gleaners and their mothers attended the banquet held at the Roosevelt i Stake House a week ago Tuesday. |
