Show DEATHS" NORA E. A. UNCA SAM Funeral services were conducted con-ducted in the Whiterocks Waid Chapel. Jan. 31, for Nora EsteUa Atwine, 52, wife of Myton Unca Sam, former residents of White-rocks. White-rocks. Elbert Smith of the Waid Bishopric conducted the jser-l vices, under the direction of Bishop Gilbert Ellingford. I The opening song, '.'Nearer j My God To Thee," was sung by j a ladies chorus consisting of , Mignon Harvey. Esther Merk-' ley, Mildred Moosman, Zella Pike and Frances Bartlett, accompanied ac-companied by Clyde Markley. Invocation . was by Virgil Robb of the Whiterocks Ward Bishopric, followed bv a song, "Abide With Me," by the chorus. chor-us. Bishop Ellingford and James B. Harvey were the first speakers, followed by a duet, "Whispering Hope," by Mignon Harvey and Frances Bartlett. Concluding speaker was James E. Bacon, president of the Uintah Uin-tah Basin Indian Mission. Closing Clos-ing song, "Unanswered Yet?" was by the ladies chorus. Benediction Ben-ediction was by George E. Simmons. Sim-mons. Burial was in the Ft. Duchesne Du-chesne Cemetery. Dedication of the grave was by George E. Simmons. Pall bearers were Myton Unca Sam, Sidney Atwine, ' Johny Harper. Hughes Jacks. Jim Nc-phi Nc-phi and David Colorow. Survivors, beside her husband, hus-band, are one sister, Eva Atwine At-wine Saknikent, and one brother, broth-er, Sidney Atwine, of Whiterocks. |
