Show Snowfall Tops Previous Record Snow measurements taken in Indian Canyon show that both snow depth and water content are higher than has ever been recorded since these measurements measure-ments were started back in 1933, according to Merlin I. Bishop, Forest Ranger of the Duchesne District of the Uinta National Forest. At an elevation of 9100 feet on an established snow course at the head of Indian Canyon, the average snow depth at present pres-ent is 51.6 inches, as compared to 21.6 inches last year at this time, and 30.91 inches average since 1935. The average water content at present is 16.04 inches, inch-es, as compared to 5.0 inches last year at this time and 6.86 inches average since 1931.
