Show Garden Club Hears Mrs. Roy Ferman Discuss Flowers The unusually lovely garden and home of Mrs. Arza Adams was a fitting place for the meeting of the Pleasant Grove Garden Club on Oct. 8 where flower lover Mrs. Roy Ferman of Lehi, discussed and displayed new types of chrysanthemums chrysan-themums which she has grown. Outstanding was the English variety, var-iety, several inches in diameter. Among them were the Peach Blossom, Ducky Queen, Shirley Primrose, etc. The Garden Clubs of Utah County Coun-ty are much indebted to Mrs. Ferman Fer-man for her contributions of time and the lovely blooms which she cultures and shows at club activities activ-ities and her experience in growing grow-ing them. At the close of the meeting refreshments re-freshments were served by co-hcs-tesses Effie Adams and Claudia Brown. Present with those already mentioned men-tioned were May Barton, Berta Thornton, Ida Pierson, Emma Harper, Sadie Chandler, Thelma Freeman and Lucille Hillman. |
