Show Forming Habits. We believe in the greatest freedom for the youth; we believe in a happy environment that will create nobla characters; we believe the spirit of the boy should be held sacred and directed di-rected toward the achievement of higher things in life than social gossip gos-sip and amusement, and we believa that the encouragement of pool playing play-ing as an adjunct of the public schools. It makes no difference how many boards of education, committees, public pub-lic meetings, may favor it, Is a mistake. mis-take. The Idea that we must resort to games to hold the boys to their school work carries with It the Impression Im-pression that our school methods ara wrong, and there can be no other Justification Jus-tification of pool playing in schoolrooms school-rooms than that impression. Educa- tion should be given world-wide room. It should be as free as the air on the prairies.
