Show S. H. Lions Hear H. F. Kretchman rAt their regular meeting Monday Mon-day evening members of the Sugar Su-gar House Lions heard a talk given by H. F. Kretchman, editor ed-itor of the Salt Lake Telegram. Mr. Ketchman spols on the subject: sub-ject: "Is America Morally Strong to Defend Itself?" Mr. Kretchman said that too many people expect to earn a living by not working; they are becoming soft and they expect things to come too easily. What is needed to bolster the moral fibre of the country, he said, is for everyone to give each day an honest day's work. ' Communism, Com-munism, too, he pointed out, must be fought by Americans. At the meeting new member LaMar Busath, production manager man-ager of The Bulletin Publishing Co., was introduced. Announcement was made of the annual Christmas party to be held Friday evening at the Jensen home. Mrs. Wallace L. Smith is chairman of the event. |
