Our Post Chaplain Howard Bringhurst, who also has the honor of being the district chaplain, had the pleasure of attending the regular meeting of Post No. 109 which is composed com-posed of colored members, for November. He performed the duties of chaplain at this meeting meet-ing and was complimented ve;y highly for his efficient method of performing the duties of chaplain. Howard reports that Wrilliam Gephert, has re-entered the Veterans Hospital for renewed re-newed treatment. President Pearl Hamilton and Secretary Elva Wignall of the post unit attended the president and secretary conference for the auxiliary held Dec- 13 and 14, in the Presidents Suite at the Newhouse Hotel. Department Adjutant Horsley gave an. interesting in-teresting discussion on pensions for the widows and orphans of deceased veterans, as well as child welfare in general. sirous of having a good attendance at-tendance on the evening of Dec. 22- at the Continental Baking Co. The Purrington School of Dancing, will furnish a number num-ber of their students to take part; as well as The Hoffman Dramatic Drama-tic School who will have some very talented youngsters on the program. Among the members of our post who will have children chil-dren will be Mr. and Mrs. Bate-man's Bate-man's two tiny tots; Mr. and Mrs. Wignall's little son and daughter; Mr. and Mrs. Max Young's little son. Morlene Davis will sing Holy Night with several sev-eral other selections. Comrade Carl Springman, who is the former reporter for this column has become a Grandpa.
