Show John E. De Haan Opens New Store A new business was added to the Sugar House scene recently when the De Haan Wall Paper Co. opened at its new location at 2307 Hifghland Drive. John E. De Haan, owner and manager, man-ager, had nearly 25 years' experience expe-rience behind him when he first opened his business at his home, 2123 E. 17th So. in June. 1946.. Expansion of the interior decorating deco-rating service necessitated a move to 658 E. 21st South in the spring of 1947, followed by the recent moye into the newly-completed building on Highland Drive. Mr. De Haan's brother, Lorenzo Lo-renzo C. De Haan, is the assistant assist-ant manager. They specialize in stocking all nationally known brands of wallpaper and paint, Mr. De Haan said. |
